George Kapos, who owns and operates Floras Salons Inc., was born in Athens, Greece, and grew up in the U.S. At one time, George considered a career in art but perhaps because he is descended from a long line of hairdressers, he realized that he could translate his love of art into a profession as a hair stylist.

At 18, George completed cosmetology graduate school, and became one of the youngest hairdressers in his family. Now, for more than 24 years, George has successfully operated multiple salons. He has developed a loyal clientele, and become an integral part of their lives.
